This fun little miniature art doll is only 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm). I created Joyce with a soft tan and brown houndstooth straight skirt with tan knit shirt and brown knit jacket. Joyce has a completely hand painted face, and even has dark frizzy hair, and a tiny replica of one of her writing creations to add the final touch! If you are a fan of this author, this is a must have collectible!
Joyce Carol Oates was born June 16, 1938 and is an American author. Oates published her first book in 1963 and has since published over fifty novels, as well as many volumes of written work.
Character is uniquely created from wire, clay, paint, and wood.
