Merino fibres in sumptuous shades of turquoise and teal with a hint of lilac have been dry felted along with some snippets of sari silk and other fabrics to make this piece. A little free machine embroidery adds detail and texture.
The cuff is lined with a beautiful batik cotton and satin stitched around the edges with a toning turquoise thread. Cuff closes with a sturdy thread wrapped loop around a chunky button.
Cuff measures 23cm long and 6cm at the wide end. Measures 6.5 cm in diameter when done up and fits loosely around my own wrist which measures 16cm around.
If you would like this cuff but want an exact fit, just send me your wrist measurements and I will adjust the button.
The last photo shows the pile of fibres that I worked with. I thoroughly enjoy the creative process of turning loose fibres into something unique and wearable.
Handmade in Scotland.
