To create them, I rounded and filed the corners of these brass squares. I also hammered around the edges for texture and embossed the playing card design (diamond, club, heart, spade) on the earrings. Then I wire-wrapped the black faceted glass bead and the tiny red Swarovski crystals. (Swarovski crystals are the highest quality crystal on the market, known for their superior sparkle.) The handmade copper ear wires (by Etsy seller Melinda Orr Designs) are the perfect finishing touch: the little dots grouped together look just like a club!
These lightweight earrings come gift-boxed. A nice gift for someone who plays bridge, poker, or other card games.
