Vintage Cushion cover in sweet shabby chic floral design but in really zingy lime green and blue.This is a 50's (or even early 60s) barkcloth - a sort of slightly slubby cotton popular at that time and sought after today by collectors. I have additionally embellished this with bright lime green vintage cotton lace.
This is a genuine vintage fabric and has lived a little. Slightly faded but the colours do still 'pop' - it must have been eye-watering bright when new!
It has been backed with new white lining fabric and new green pistachio ticking on the back, with an envelope closure. As with all my cushions all internal seams have been finished with zig-zag stitching to minimize fraying.
