This banner measures 27 inches long when hung as shown. Each paperboard card is cut with my die press, stamped with acrylic paint and then distressed with black ink. The cards are each 4.25 inches wide and 3.25 inches tall. They are made of a paperboard much thicker than cardstock. This banner is light enough to be hung with tape yet durable enough to be used for many years.
Every letter is individually hand-stamped with black acrylic paint. Stamping with paint gives the letters a worn, vintage look. Your banner may be slightly different from the banner shown. It's the imperfections that make each banner perfect :)
After I distress the edges of the cards, I string them on a soft gray, satin ribbon. There is plenty of ribbon on each end to hang the banner. The length of the banner can be adjusted depending on how straight or "droopy" you hang the banner . There is also enough ribbon to space the cards a little further apart if you prefer.
Your banner will arrive with a silver bell tied between each card, 4 bells total. These quality bells are made of metal and make a festive ringing sound that I love (even after my preschooler played with them all morning!)
