I find the undersides of these beauties just heartbreaking ... natural materials, geometric patterns, simple, logical mechanics. So good.
I'm keeping these as a set with the idea that you might use them in your home decor rather than as an accessory while you walk down the street. They can be hung together in a variety of settings, glowing as the sun hits them, and offering you a little shade and privacy on a porch, in a quiet reading corner, or even as a large, impressive light fixture's shade.
The bamboo and function of all three parasols is excellent. There are, however, some small flaws in the paper. The teal one has one or two minor straight-line tears, as does one of the others. The third has quite a few. These are not flappy holes that let light through, they are visually not a big deal, and take some looking before you really notice them, but they are there, and I've priced these nice and low in spite of their overall delightfulness. Such a treat!
