The sturdy White Oak in our back yard enjoyed its humble beginnings as an inexperienced young acorn. These days, that oak looks fondly on those early times, but is grateful for its strong roots and comely silver bark. In the Springtime, it sends out the sweetest young tender leaves. These are so dainty and foolish I can hardly believe they are of the same century-old tree! I call this design my White Oak Leaf Necklace in Copper.
Inspired by those winsome leaves, I have created this lovely original design. The leaf is first hand-drawn, then transferred to 100% reclaimed copper. I then pierce the shape with a jeweler's saw. Next I begin to add many layers of texture and handmade love. The leaf is attached to a 16 inch sterling silver chain at an angle that makes it appear to be mid twirl on the breeze. Handmade sterling silver hook closure from 100% recycled silver
Each piece comes with a handmade reclaimed leather tag and in a gift-ready and adorable recycled brown box.
