With history as my inspiration, I carved this large three pronged hair comb from the the naturally shed antler of a domesticated elk (100% cruelty free). I cut a richly textured section of the antler in half lengthwise to create this comb that, while large, is quite light weight. It is fully coated with clear sealer.
Measures roughly 6 6/8" long and 1 5/8" wide
Throughout history and across many cultures hair combs have been beautiful adornments and useful tools. I've tried to capture that primitive asthetic with my antler creations and I have gained much respect for ancient craftsman through the process!
Note: Antler is a very strong and flexible material but your comb should not be twisted, bent or dropped or submerged in water. For best hold, style hair in place with a clip or pins then add the comb.
