This piece, entitled 'Queenie', is made from a mix of embroidery and acrylic paint. It depicts a hen in a Scandinavian style, on a natural linen background. The colours include orange, pink, raspberry, white & stone paint and thread.
The embroidery is done freehand using a basic sewing machine to 'draw' straight onto the fabric.
This piece is mounted on a 11" x 18" x 3/4" (28cm x 46cm x 2cm) wooden frame (FSC certified from sustainable source).
It comes ready to hang with a saw-tooth hanger on the back.
