I photographed a collection of 370 images during 2010-2011 for a 356 series, each day depicting a word from George Orwell's classic dystopian novel, 1984. I shot them in consecutive order, one word per day. I never planned ahead, but used what I found. Each image was taken with my Canon EOS 7D camera. The result is a professional, very high quality shot that forms part of a compelling series.

This is a 5-piece postcard pack of the most famous phrase of the novel, "Big Brother Is Watching You", shot over one week in August 2010 in the Yorkshire Dales.

The series has been featured in newspapers (The Observer), magazines (How Things Work), as part of the prestigious annual Orwell Prize ceremony and online. I've exhibited them in both large and small formats.
