This book was originally printed by the War Department in 1943 during WWII. It was intended as a guide for military personnel. Just imagine this book was possessed by one of our fine military veterans during his/her first assignments. This book helped a young faced soldier communicate in portuguese. Knowing the few belongings soldiers were allowed to carry I'm sure this book was a must and was kept clean and dry.
This Phrase Book contains the Portuguese expressions you are most likely to need.
