This big-eyed owl is a hand cut ornament and has a unique, art nouveau style, fired on design produced in collaboration with my husband, who has Photoshop know-how. It was funny because he was a little grumpy about helping me and thought it would take 3 days to create a few different designs and it ended up taking 3 hours and we came up with 5. He created a template and went through and called out 'head' (and I'd tell him which image I wanted.....) 'body'.....'eyes'.....'wings'......
It can be saved for the holiday season or displayed year 'round.
The size is roughly 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 inches.
3 days.....hahaha.

Inevitably, when I'm done making things, I'm left with some un-usable scraps. I alternate giving these scraps to two local artists--one fabricates amazing countertops using resin and recycled glass and the other is a mosaic artist who makes beautiful works of art. I care deeply for the environment and try to recycle as much as I possibly can.
