This little flower fairy is Santa Lucia. Her dress is a white rose, she has the traditional red waist band and her crown of candles. Her feast day is celebrated on Dec. 13. This little gal is a brunette. There is a blonde version also.

Currently, she is made to order. She will ship within three days of purchase.

Her crown is made of pipecleaner, wire and glass beads. Please use care when using this doll.

All of my Waldorf-inspired flower fairies are handmade wrapped wire bendy dolls. I wrap them with cotton floss which has a lovely sheen and does not pill with age. They are usually about 3 inches tall and fully pose-able. Each are one-of-a-kind. I use natural wood beads for their head and try to incorporate natural items, like acorn caps, nuts or feathers when I have them.

In Waldorf tradition her facial features and expressions are left up to her companion's mood.

****5 and up. These dolls are not for young children as they have small pieces and can be a choking hazard. If you have any doubts about whether or not your child will want to munch on and decapitate the poor little things, wait a year or two before you purchase one. Headless fairies are not nice fairies.
