This vintage print is probably from the1930's to the 1940's, based upon the frame and framing technique. It is 8 x 10, but the picture size itself is 7 x 9. If the picture doesn't look as vivid as modern prints, it's because the printing techniques of the era did not produce such vivid colors, and there may be some color fading due to age. However, the impact of the scene is still powerful, and something about this particular painting as a vintage item that seems especially apt. I can't see any printer's mark -- the only mark evident in that the reproduction shows Breton's signature (that was one the original) in the lower left-hand side.
I can't tell for certain without taking the picture apart, but the print may be printed on a thicker, almost linen-type paper. Or it may be on regular paper with a thick backing. There's a white spot along the girl's arm, and I also don't know if that is a scrape in the photo or a piece of white paper that has somehow lodged iself in that spot. There is a tiny bit of spotting just above the grove of trees that you see to the right of the girl's shoulder, but you really have to be looking for it.
The frame itself is in sturdy condition, and the backing is still solid, although the wire hanger is a bit aged looking.
It is unusual to find this particular print in a vintage frame and format, so it's a special treat. What a lovely piece this would be in a farmhouse, or someone who loves farmhouse decor!
