The fish parts come on pre-printed scrapbook paper for easy cutting. Your child will just need to follow the lines to cut out the oval, triangle, and trapezoid shapes. It's great scissor practice!
The paper plates are folded so that they can be packaged, but once all the good stuff is added - paint, water paper, fish, sand, shells, seaweed, etc., the creases are barely visible. If you would like to supply your own perfectly not-folded plates, go for it! But I'm telling you, the folds are fine! :)
Fish bowl and plastic "glass" paper templates are included so you'll know exactly where to cut the fish bowl plate and aquarium glass. Easy peasy!
With this kit, all of the planning and organizing of the materials has already been done for you. Some materials may differ slightly, but all will coordinate nicely. Easy step-by-step instructions with color photographs and most materials are included.

*This kit is appropriate for ages 3 (with adult help) and up.
*Contains some parts (small shells, wiggly eyes, non-toxic acrylic paint, piece of plastic ziploc) that may not be suitable for your younger crafters, please be careful. If you are working with a younger crafter, just let me know in the "Message to the Seller" part of checkout and I won't include the plastic ziploc piece, or you can throw it away when you receive the kit. Although it will be glued onto the craft, a child could remove it if he or she tried hard enough. This is to be used as decoration, it is not a toy. Have I scared you off yet? It's a super cute craft, you just need to know your kid and be careful. My 3-year-old daughter made one and I tacked it way up high on her wall so she couldn't get to it. She thinks it great!
