These full fabric wings are made from up-cycled materials. This guarantees just like a butterfly or bird, no two are ever exactly alike. What materials do I up-cycle? Studio scraps, Cotton shirts, T-shirts, skirts, bed spreads, table clothes... you name it! These have a wonderful "weight", flow, and movement. They just beg to be flapped. I try to only use natural fiber based materials, due to the flammability of many polyesters or nylons.
All "feathers" have finished edges, and will avoid fraying as they are worn or washed. Incredibly durable.
Because children grow like weeds, I have modified this pattern to grow with your toddler, encouraging this toy to last a LONG LONG time. So I placed a row of buttons across the shoulders, in the beginning the wings overlap. As they grow you move the button holes. If you would rather have plastic snaps, I can do that, just understand they are not as strong as buttons. There are shoulder loops and wrist loops, IN NO WAY DO THESE WINGS ATTACH AROUND THE NECK!

This listing is for wings made from up-cycled materials or studio scraps that I currently have ON HAND. They differ from pictures posted, and will not be identical. Gradients, styles, colors will be in the SCOPE selected. If you want cookie cutter go to Amazon.com and buy commercially made.
I am happy to do custom fabrics, and specific color schemes. But the wings will cost more. If you would like a specific color scheme (solid color fabric rainbow, dragon, monochrome) or fabric style (Micheal Miller), I am happy to do so BUT I will have to set up a custom listing with increased material costs included.
There is absolutely NO full refund issued on any item, there is no refund issued 60 days after date of PURCHASE.

Due to the nature of construction, how these are ordered: In the notes to seller please include the following list:
1. Your child's 'wingspan' (fingertip to fingertip):
2. Your child's sex (Male, Female, or Gender Neutral):
3. Your child's clothing size AND AGE:
4. Color preferences:
5. Snap or button (remember snaps are not as strong):
6. Design request (random, rainbow, earth tones, don't care):
7. Circumference of shoulder strap (where arm meets shoulder, measure all the way around):

Due to the time intensive nature of this project, please allow 3-4 weeks for your set of wings to be made for your little aeronaut.

Fully machine washable, just lay flat to dry. Can be machine dried but you will have to Iron the feathers flat!
