This gold and silver chainmaille necklace was inspired by falling snow. The snowflake pendant dangling from the center is a dark gold colored metal with incredibly shiny faux diamond-like gems. On either side of the snowflake are links of silver-plated chain and a gold-colored metal chain. The chainmaille is bright alumninum and anodized aluminum. There are actually two silver colors that make up the chainmaille- a matte white in the center and below this is a shinier silver.

This necklace is princess-length, although the lobster clasp can be clipped closer in the chainmaille to make this a choker or clipped to the extra silver-plated chain at the end to make this longer. I have a small neck so when I modeled this, I clasped it further in on the chainmaille to make it tighter. That said, if you'd like this made shorter than 16", just ask. I can also make it a bit longer if you need that.

The chainmaille is about 16" (40.6 cm) long and 3/4" (1.9 cm) wide (except in the center where the chainmaille point is lower- that part is 1 1/4" [3.2 cm] wide). The thin extra chain on the end adds 1" (2.5 cm) to the length of the necklace. The snowflake is about 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) wide and tall.
