This is a beautiful, one of a kind, handmade dream catcher. The hoop that holds the webbing is 7 inches in diameter. The hoop is covered in an endearing fabric that has beautiful shades of pink, turquoise, green, creamy yellow and gold. The webbing is made out of earth friendly hemp and holds carefully placed gold, pink, green and turquoise glass beads which create four swirls within the webbing. The The tail holds beads and a pristine cut peacock feather. Whether you are buying this for yourself or as a gift, this dream catcher will add a feeling of whimsy to any space it is hung in.
Dream catchers are traiditionally given to families with new babies to be hung above the infants crib. The dream catcher filters dreams; bad dreams get caught in the bed and the sweet dreams travel down the tail. through the feather, to the baby. The morning sun burns the bad dreams that were caught within the webbing. Inspired by my own infant daughter, I know your little one will love to stare at the dream catcher as it moves softly in the wind as they drift off to sleep. No one can force someone else to sleep; we can only hope to teach our children how to calm their mind and body in a way that allows them to peacefully enter the realm of sleep.
