It measures 8 ½ by 8 ½ square.
More photos will be posted soon to give you a better idea of the “touch and feel” of the handmade paper edges, etc . . .
The process is called gelatin monotyping. I cooked up a batch of plain gelatin (convoy me if you want the recipe and directions). Once the slab sets you ink it up like any other printing plate and you can take paint away or block it (in this case a pressed leaf for the botanical delight). Oh the second print is on the actual Japanese rice paper, not its outer package.
