Whimsical & Cheery Gift Vintage Tabletop Friend. Green ceramic smiling turtle figurine and container. From the 1970's & made in Japan. Has original sticker and price. Measures ~4" long, ~2" wide and 4" tall. Would make a fun gift. Could be a pencil holder or planter for a cactus or tiny plant.
In very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The light green glaze is in great condition. Unglazed pottery shows light wear. Any irregularities appear from original glazing/molding process. Some of the foam "frog" residual residue is in the bottom of the "pot." Probably will soak off. I didn't, because I didn't want to disturb the the original label. The description is for full disclosure, but it's appearance is not as bad as it sounds. Please see photos.
