I am interested in history, books of costumes (especially Racinet), old games, combining strange objects, anthropomorphism, food and knitting. I love making up strange combinations just to see what happens and I am very fond of this particular result! I hope that you like her too.
The little dancer has been lovingly painted onto found plywood using acrylic paint. She has been hand cut and sandpapered and stands at about 12 inches (30 cm) high. She has painted hinges made from metal brads, so that she can be moved from the arms. The little dancer also has a matching stand made of plywood. She would be very content living on the corner of a sideboard, table, or bookshelf.
