Mosaic Steer Skull made with Handcut Dichroic and Stained Glass Tiles. Original, OOAK.

This is a real steer skull, designed and executed by me. The horns measure 25 inches from tip to tip. The skull is 20 inches from crown to snout. I cut all the tiles by hand and laid them myself. The dichroic glass tiles each change color depending on the angle of the viewer (making it incredibly difficult to photograph). It's hard to convey just how sparkly this piece is in person- if placed in direct sunlight, it showers it's surroundings in multicolored shards of reflected light. Placed in indirect light, it gently shimmers and shines. All the remaining exposed bone except the teeth is painted black. It has one unblinking eye to watch over you and unnerve your guests.
