Very, very classy! A 14mm floral Tensha bead is snuggled between two Swarovski crystal rondelle spacers and 2 color matched 8mm Czech smooth round beads. These are the focal point of this gorgeous necklace! Blue roses with small yellow and red flowers with green leaves are reminiscent of a tranquil Japanese garden in the evening. Hand applied gold leaf adds sparkle and class! Swarovski crystal sky blue 6mm beads complete the 6 inch center and all is connected with a dainty silver chain and clasp!
The large center bed is a Japanese Tensha, lightweight, extremely durable, and beautiful. The ornate, antiqued silver Ox caps complete the Victorian picture! 18 inches in total length.
The Japanese word tensha roughly translates to transfer in English. The acrylic beads are apliqued by hand with matching transfers on each side, and gold leaf is added for extra glamour! A high gloss coat of acrylic protects the design and adds to the look of a hand made antique glass bead. Tensha beads have been around for years and have recently become very popular in the U.S.
