I thought when I found it that it was just the one guy. I didn't realize it was Yeltzin, just thought it was cool. Turns out, I was right!! OMG! So awesome to open up Yeltzin, and to find Gorbachev inside! Then on and on all the way back through the ages to a teeny tiny Stalin! Awesome!
What's better than a stacked piece of true Russian history in the form of hand carved and painted vintage Russian Icon Nesting Dolls from the 1900's to the turn of last century? Uh, nothing!
This would make the perfect stocking stuffer for your history buff, comrade or just a cool display piece to add some foreign history in your home. You can lay out all 5, as I have for the photos, or keep all those years bottled up inside Yeltzin... undoubtedly like he's doing. But I can promise, unlike Yeltzin, the KGB will not disturb you or your enjoyment of this unusual and fantastically colorful piece.
Yeltzin is 4" tall and the other icons get smaller from there. Lenin is about the size of a peanut. That'll teach him. The paint is in mostly excellent condition, but there is a little flaking, so be gentle. That's the first time anyone said that about Stalin. ;-D
