They measure 1 3/4inches at their widest and 3 3/4 inches long.
The ear wires are made from fine silver.
Every piece starts life as sheets of copper, silver and powered glass. I cut every shape out with a small coping saw, fix it up with files and sandpaper then enamel it. Enameling is a process where different colors of powdered glass are fused to metal at extremely hot temperatures (around 1500 degrees Fahrenheit). Each piece takes a trip into the kiln about 8 times to achieve a thick glossy coat of glass that looks almost liquid. Do to the handmade quality of my work no two pieces come out exactly the same. Hooray for hand made! You always get a one of a kind.
