Fine bone china is made using real bones - enhancing the theme in this instance - and is more resistant to chipping than ordinary porcelain, with a pleasing translucent quality when held up to the light (to toast the ghost of Josiah Spode).
One colour (black) designs have been fired onto the front, back, base and handle. The skull, crossbones and border on the front are my own drawings. The back reads: "Warning! Contents habit forming". The base bears the Skullbag skull mark and the words "Offers you cannot resist" (as seen on the door of my favourite antique shop).
The cup is new and unused (as opposed to vintage).
Mug dimensions: 90mm tall x 80mm diameter.
Capacity: approximately 400ml (or 13.5 fluid ounces) when full to the brim.
The cup will be sent to you in a sturdy mug mailer box that protects it during the journey.
Dishwasher safe. Morphine not included. I don't recommend using anything stronger than Ringtons tea in it, or the occasional drop of rum and milk on a cold winter's night... it's my only weakness.
