The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.
This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Non-tarnish sterling silver plated wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. Wrapped in the branches are gorgeous, natural freshwater "rice" pearls.
These pearls were technically labeled as "lavender" but they have an amazing range of color and hue ranging from a peach, to a soft pink and into pale purple. The color is just beautiful and the variation gives such a depth to the piece. Being pearl, they have brilliant iridescent quality to them that makes them shine and appear to shift in light.
It would make a wonderful bridal accent but you don't have to be a bride though to enjoy this lovely piece. Pearl is also the birthstone of June so would make a great gift for a June baby. Maybe you just like the striking look - no other reason necessary!
Each pendant is fully hand crafted and thus one-of-a-kind. No two are alike. You will receive the exact piece shown. It is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece!
The pendant is approximately 1.25" in diameter not including bail. Chains are available SEPARATELY here in the store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PhoenixFireDesigns?section_id=7776955
Beautiful and different, this is sure to be a regular accessory in both your everyday wear and for something special.
