As I said, this yarn is approximately worsted weight; I am not an even spinner so while not flat-out slubby, some parts are thicker than others (the beauty of handspun is that it's not always even like commercial yarn, making it more unique). It is not superwash, and thus could be felted. With 83 yards you could make a small hat, or a pair of fingerless gloves; or incorporate this handspun in with a larger project made from commercially spun yarn of the same weight.
This yarn was spun in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once spun it is kept in a bin which cats and dogs do not have access to.
