So it says right on the front.
This is a"Reflex" camera, pseudo TLR. The image is reflected up to the viewfinder by a mirror. It is fixed focus, fixed exposure.
The camera housing is all plastic, so it feels extremely light weight when you consider that the look mimics a RolleiFlex TLR.
It uses 620 spool film. I have seen some photos recently by a professional photographer with taken with one of these cameras. They look as if he had used a much more expensive camera.
I don't know if this works, but there is film inside and the mechanics seem ok. The shuuter relase lever looks haywire, but it is actually exactly as designed.
Side Note: Apparently there are some photos of Lee Harvey Oswald fooling around in his backyard with a rifle that were taken with one of these cameras. Maria Osawld his (wife) said she took them. But the transcript of her testimony doesn't jive. She said she held the camera up to her eye to take the pictures, but obviously that's not how this type of camera work.
SO: For you CONSPIRICY THEROISTS: Who took the pictures and why did Mrs. Oswald lie? Or is the government lying about the camera?
Own a peice of history!
