This is an original design, limited edition (second of three) hand-cut papercutting of a majestic bald eagle. I designed this papercutting portrait from a series of eagle photos I took, and I cut it by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted to 8"x10". The double mat is green and silver and black mottled, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a hand-painted original watercolor painting in browns, tans, golds, blues, and greens. The watermark is on the photos only, not the actual piece.
