ON SALE murano geode prism bowl

this beautiful geometric space-age "sommerso" (latin for submerged) piece of vintage murano glass dates from the 60/70's and is probably made by V NASON or MANDRUZZATO company for murano. it has a lovely indigo blue scoop of colour encased in a layer of amber that fades into another encased clear layer and has a facetted body which gives an optical/reflective effect.
very cool and rare sophisticated piece of mid century modernist studio glass, diamond cut base. in perfect condition apart from some tiny nibbles on the rim(see last photo)

measures 2 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide
