This is one of the most unusual stones I have worked with. The color around the flume of druzy inside of a geode is often colorful. Usually in brown tones or gray tones. Mineralization of water dripping through the stone for thousands of years is what forms the crystalization inside of the stone. This one is a bright yellow and the banding is beautiful. It reminds me of banana creme pie. The white is bright and beautiful as well with striking bands. The stone measures 2 5/8 inches in length and 1 1/4 inch in width. This is a beautiful stone and would be a nice necklace for a man or woman. A leather neck chain can also be attached in place of the 24 inch sterling silver over stainless link chain that is attached as is. The bail is a stering silver ice pick bail.
