What fun it was to needle felt this beautiful bird! I love to photograph birds and this duck has to be one of my favorite ducks. I also love to work with bright colors especially this time of the year. This duck started out as a fluff of carded wool. (from my flock of sheep) I studied beautiful pictures of wood ducks as I added wool here and there using the art of Needle Felting. Once I had the basic shape of the bird felted I added the beautiful colors of wool that I had dyed. He is very solidly felted, which took many hours of needle felting. He would make a very striking and unique addition to any decoy collection.

He measures 9 1/2 inches from bill to tail, 5 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. He is solid wool.
The duck pictured is the duck you will receive. He is ready to ship. He will arrive quickly, and beautifully packaged.
