Moss is a very easy plant to take care of, perfect for novice and expert plant lovers alike. The sealed glass container acts as a mini ecosystem, or biological system consisting of many organisms that exist in mutual dependence with the other organisms in the system. Tiny microscopic organisms in the soil and the moss itself break down any waste components. The jar traps the moisture inside allowing the moss to thrive.
