Hello!......these are small and intimate (a few inches tall) so please use the "Zoom" feature to see photo details.....also, the memory stick in the photo is for judging size (not included in the sale). Thanks for shopping with me.

These photos are of the exact (one of a kind) cairns you will receive.

THIS GROUP OF THREE cairns includes beach pebbles with matte and gloss surfaces and a variety of natural colors unique to the Great Lakes. There are three cairns but at least one can be stacked on the largest base.

Visit my shop to explore more Cairns at http://www.etsy.com/shop/StoneZen

If you are interested in SPECIAL ORDERING a group or quantity of these for gifts or favors click on the "custom order" link to contact me. My listings are priced at $2 per pebble but orders of ten or more are generally $1 per pebble.

I enjoy collecting beach stones to stack (with the help of super glue) forming tiny sculptural cairns. Cairns have been used for eons to mark trails, particularly for travelers in remote mountainous regions where a rocks or snow prevent a path from showing them the way. Some pebbles have been given a gloss or satin coating to reveal details only seen when they are wet on the beach. Consider displaying on a desk, window sill, or meditation altar. Allow them to remind you of balance, beauty, wild places, and a path to happiness.

Along the Great Lakes we have quite a variety of beach stone colors and fossils. Our rocks may have traveled all the way from Canada via an ancient glacier or were once plants, animals or sediment on a prehistoric sea bed. A stroll along the beach wave line, where pebbles are wet, and when the sun is low on the horizon, is like walking on jewels!
