vintage Czech necklace / 1930s jewelry / ICE CARVING

A 1930s Czech glass necklace. The necklace has four types of clear glass beads on the chain, including long tube beads, small rounds and faceted ovals. Each bead is hand-strung on a length of brass chain. The larger beads are capped with scalloped brass findings. The feature of the necklace is a drop pendant, top drilled and suspending from an ice pick bail. This bell-shaped, glass pendant is simply, elegantly molded. The glass is in excellent condition with minimum scuffing and "flea bites." I replaced the original bail with one in gilt sterling silver.
