Here are a pair of Wedding shoes worn in 1939. I obtained them from the daughter of the Bride. They are a Deep Plum/Burgundy color. More to the purples then the reds. They are NOT perfect and are small. Would be great for a vintage shoe collection. The sizing is no longer visible inside the shoes. They have been obviously worn alot. They Measure: Inside Toe To Heel~9 1/2" Width~2 3/4" Heel Height~2 3/4". Issues I note Are: Left shoe has a crack in the leather between the heel and sole on the bottom (see pix). A smudge mark on the back of the left shoe by the heel (see pix). Smudge on the back of the right heel (see pix). Some wear to the leather by the toes on both shoes. A 1/2" split in the Suede on the right shoe on the left side near the big toe. The split goes through the Suede but not the inner lining. Don't know if it is repairable or not. But could be. The shoes bend easily like a shoe should. They are not hard or crackly. Suede is soft and supple.
