I found this postcard while looking for ways for people to leave notes rather than a guest book for my wedding and knew that after the big day I really wanted to draw on any that didn't get used, and my drawings on ceramics are created with the same intention, to give new life to a old item.
Drawing is of a number of buildings and particully the London Monument which I've always though very striking, worked around the original address and stamp, which I think sit well together.
This drawing is sold unframed.
I aim to give lost items a new lease of life, for a customer who doesn’t want throw away and cheap but hand made and unique.
• Size: small letter envelope.
• Drawn exclusively in the UK, by hand.
• Drawn with a standard ink pen straight onto the envelope. The framing will provide some protection for the drawing but due to the envelope's age and vintage qualities I don't know how it will fair over time, so I suggest placing it out of direct sunlight.
• I ship all my items with royal mail special delivery or 48 hour parcel force.
• International shipping is through the post office air-sure, signed for international, or parcel force international service depending on destination. If shipping is less than I have quoted by more than £2 I will refund back the difference.
