These wonderful pencil box creations use bits and pieces of colorful vintage advertising rulers with lined interiors featuring pages from a vintage "lettering" handbook. This one is topped off with a vintage brass finding and the inside edges of the box -- in the gorgeous worn robin's egg blue -- is original. I've sealed it in a couple of coats of hard furniture grade poly-acrylic. These are such a hit, that I created more for the holidays, including this one, to offer here on Etsy. The antique solid wood box has its original press button clasp on the front to keep it closed, making it a perfect art or pencil kit for when you travel or go on art-making excursions. Another plus of this box is that it opens flat, making it perfect for organizing your art-making supplies when on the move. The size is just right too for use as a desk accessory in your studio or office to corral any supplies that crowd your life! This would make a great gift for the artist, teacher, or student in your life. Outside dimensions are 9"w x 5.5"d x 2.5"h. Enjoy!
