Reminisce of Jane Austen's work this necklace is a unique one of a kind piece. After finding this lonely earring I decided to give it another chance at life. Hand strung on silk thread vintage faux cream, pink and grey pearls. Please note these vintage pearls are fake, and some of them have little or no coating on them anymore. I left it like that to give it an even more vintage feeling.
The small earring reminds me of the Portrait Earrings circa the 1800's. There is a small signing at the bottom of the painting but I can't quite read what it says. There is no earring on the back but the white has been rubbed off due to the removal of the earrings clip. So you see the metal beneath. Please note I don't think this is a real Portrait Piece. But rather a transfer on something and then it was made to look old.
