Body is wet-felted from the finest dark cocoa-brown merino wool. It measures 3" in diameter and 3.5" in height and is perfectly round at the bottom — giving it a fresh, contemporary feel. Trimmed with gorgeous long cocoa-brown and cream-colored feathers, coordinating porcelain bead* charm, and magnetic closure.

How it was made: Body of purse was entirely handmade by way of two felting stages. I first needle-felted the merino wool fiber around a form, then wet-felted the body. Once shaped and dried, I cut the form free and added the clasp, accent beads, and feather trim. (*Spatter-glazed porcelain bead is an exclusive item from Sedona, Arizona.)
