So if you’ve ever been to a wine festival, then you know these are a hot accessory. I thought it might be fun to take a stab at making one - so I put together a few prototypes, and settled on a design I liked.
My first few went to my family, and not 10 minutes into the festival, complete strangers were asking, “where did you get that?” Ahhhh – the sweet words were so gratifying. So now, after selling hundreds at area festivals – I have to pride myself on them.
First, and most importantly, they are just cool. I’ve literally heard my customers say that.
Second, they work so well. I like to think of them as the Honda Accord of wine glass holders.
The glass holder is sturdy, the Velcro holds tight. I’ve stitched the strap in about a zillion times to reinforce it – it’s not going to break. And when you are ready to sample wine, you don’t have to pull it over your head to remove the glass. Undo the Velcro, and the glass comes right out. Hang it around your neck and keep your hands free while perusing the wine festival.
The design features a "pac man" shape. It snuggly wraps around ANY SIZE wine glass. It is fully lined, and features interior interfacing, strong velcro closure, and a heavy duty “tubing” neck strap.
