A small three dimensional dress. The bodice is made from old collage parts, sculpted and stitched together. The skirt is stitched together from old book pages, old fabric which has been ruched and gathered. Delicate but strongly and carefully made.
The dress has birds in flight drawn on with a graphite pencil, then painted using white and a beige acrylic.
Inspired by living on an island watching gulls soaring over the sea and cliff tops.
Including hanger and wooden peg.
Makes for a pretty decorative piece for hanging on your wall or elsewhere.
Carefully and lovingly packaged.
