The unique textured stock is 80lbs., 100% recycled made with post-consumer waste content. Tiny flecks and grains are embedded in this retro stock once used by Hallmark greeting cards in the 50’s. This is the first recycled paper made in the U.S. with the flecks and grains.
For my L.A. cityscape I wanted to create a scene inspired by the 30's or 40's in three different retro color palettes used in vintage textiles. I especially like the tiny palm trees trimming the buildings, and the tiny Mercedes Benz sedan driving towards the lights of Hollywood.
