Absolutely amazing 60s evening dress in two shades of green chiffon. The dress is primarily apple green, with wide chartreuse panel down the front (the panel is gathered at the waist, for added fullness in the skirt). The sleeves are sheer while the rest of the gown is lined with green taffeta. The neckline is fairly high in front, and scooped lower in back. The dress is slightly high-waisted, with a flattering wide waistband finished with a beaded panel. Back zipper. No tags or labels - this was either seamstress made or created by a very skilled home sewer.
Measurements: darted bust 33" (could go to a snug 35"), high waist 26", and hips free to 38". The dress measures 11.5" from the shoulder to the top of the waistband, the waistband is 3" wide, and the skirt is 41.5" from the bottom of the waistband to the hem. The shoulders are 15" across the back.
Material: no tag; presumably rayon and/or nylon.
Condition: excellent vintage condition. The jeweled panel at the waist has a couple of loose stitches - also, the chiffon really tends to wrinkle; the dress will need a good pressing/steaming after shipping.
