This Lovely and Very Scarce Example of Genuine Charles Horner Jewelry dates from the Edwardian Era the early 1900s and features elegant, whiplash, Art Nouveau Silver worked in an emblem of Scottish Thistles with rich Citrine Coloured Stones, in a lavaliere style necklace with a suspended thistle drop and citrine spacer at the top in a typical
Art Nouveau design.

The Focal point of the necklace, the central entwined thistles worked in an abstract heart shaped design measures approximately 28mms or just under 1 1/4" inches wide.
The golden citrine spacer drop measures 6mms in diameter and is collet set in silver.
The lavaliere drop is an elegant citrine thistle, the total drop from spacer to end of the thistle lavaliere drop is 62mms or approximately 2 1/2" inches.
The Pendant is fully hallmarked with the 'CH' makers mark for Charles Horner, famous for the lovely quality Elegant Art Nouveau jewelry designs produced in the early 1900s and now very sought after by collectors.
With a full set of Chester Hallmarks with date mark for 1908.

The necklace is designed to be worn high on the neck with the the pendant designed to be suspended sensuously from the small crevice at the base of the neck above the collarbone, made to fit a dainty Edwardian lady the original chain measures 15 1/2" inches
The necklace would easily adapt to fit a larger size by addition of small extender chain.
The neckalce fastens with the original bolt ring fastener marked 'Sterling'.
