I've become obsessed with crocheting and knitting lately. I wanted a way to incorporate yarn into my designs. This was my first attempt and I love it. It makes me think of wearing a favorite wool sweater and a silver necklace. That was my inspiration for this pendant =)
I made this piece with Swedish yarn made of wool, acrylic and viscose. I wrapped this over natural wood and left the corners showing though, because I like the contrast of the materials. It is attached to a silver plated Aanraku Bail that has a larger opening, so it can accomodate many types of chains or necklace cords. I accented the piece with an adorable pewter paisley and a simulated turquoise bead.

Because of the natural fibers, I would suggest that you try to keep your pendant dry =)
Pendants come displayed on acid-free card stock and presented in a brown organza gift bag.
