Polwarth sheep are a cross between the Merino and Lincoln breeds, and are sometimes called Ideals. This wool is the South American variety, which has a slightly shorter staple length than the Australian, but still long at between 4.5 and 5 inches. At 23.5 micron, this gives you a great combination of length and softness.
