A vintage barometer made of solid wood. It also has a glass and what looks to be brass face. Nicely aged with a few nicks on the wood, a proper and thorough cleaning would do it wonders. This barometer was made in Boston, Massachusetts by Swift & Anderson, Inc. It has a longer needle and a shorter red one that moves with the knob that is located on the center of the face. The weather "stations" listed are: Hurricane, Stormy Change, Fair, and Dry. Once side indicates "rising" and the other "falling". Outer graduations are measured in inches and the inner ones in millibars. I do not know if this barometer works, but it would make a splendid display piece and it does have an attached metal wall hanger. 5 1/4" in diameter.
