The backdrop of the piece has a detailed cloud pattern which I have carefully burned onto the wood panel, each little curve, one at a time. I have finished the background off with white casein paint for a clean look that gives a lovely contrast to the houses and sky in front.
The support for this piece is a 1" thick cradled solid wood panel oval panel that is 6" x 8"
